Ciao a tutti! Hi, everybody! It's a snowy morning here in Italy, and I've been trying to think of something worthwhile to share. Unfortunately, I'm stumped! So I'm going to go with an "old faithful" of sorts. Ready? Here we go, with

Thirteen Things on My To-Do List!

1) Write. I've got several projects in varying stages of completion, and I really need to wrap 'em up!
2) Laundry. Today I must do some laundry.

Must.

Do.
3) Bake some cookies.

Not that I need sweet treats around the house, but I've planned on doing this for a while, now. I need to get on it.
4) Design cover art. I really need to work on the art for the cover of one of my books, which is still in-progress -- both the book and the artwork.
5) Pick a song and sing out loud.

6) Apologize to the cat for singing.

Doodle is generally unimpressed by my vocal stylings.
7) Promote my books. It's becoming a struggle to get the word out while I'm also trying to get more writing done. So, if anyone is interested in a blog post or interview, let me know...
8) An internet radio interview. On March 15th, I'm going to talk to the lovely folks at the Webbweaver Books blogtalk radio station. More info to come.

Well, I reckon that's part of number seven done, right?
9) Exercise. I have to keep this going, too. I'm riding my stationary bike three times a week and it seems to be helping as far as keeping me fit(ish). I have to work up to longer rides, as well.
10) Visiting friends. I've got some time with friends scheduled this week, so I'm looking forward to that.
11) Finding new recipes to try in the slow cooker.
12) Planning my trip to the US. It won't be long before I have to get that done...

13) Watching the Strade Bianche cycling race on March 2nd. You know I'm looking forward to that.

And there you are: Thirteen Things on My To-Do List.

I'm willing to bet many of you have lists which compare to this, eh?

So much to do, so little time.

And we should always remember...

Spare a little time to get out and enjoy the fresh air.

Ciao for now!

Wow, snow in Italy. It looks so beautiful. Why worry about stuff to do?

And about getting the word out about your books you can always come visit me again, if you'd like.

Alas, the photo of the snow was taken in the US some years ago - I'm not sure there are any houses like that in Italy! :)

I'd love to visit you again - I'll send you an email soon and we'll sort something out.

That's a busy time you're having. He isn't really called Andrew, is he?

I sure am, Anthony - as always! LOL!

And you know what? I kinda doubt it. ;)

I'm exhausted just thinking about it, really. And Doodle really doesn't like singing at all. Unless I'm singing *to* her, then it seems to be okay. :D

Find a song & sing it? I'm one of those who has a constantl loop of songs playing in my head (my friend calls them "earworms"). My problem is shutting them off.

I usually do, too - but today I wanted to find something I could just belt out, ya know? Not every song is suitable for that - plus I need to know all the words.

Laundry is a never-ending cycle. I'd much rather bake cookies. *g*

I know what you mean. But my resistance to cookie-type treats is dreadfully low! Heh.

Revise is at the top of my list. It just keeps hovering there, waiting for me to do something about it.

Ugh. Don't you just *hate* that? ;)

My list today is paint, sing, play dough, play guns and more. I'm with my little grandsons today!

I'm a little jealous, right now. I won't lie. I love to play with play dough!

Oh boy can I relate!!!!! I hope you get it all done. Except for apologizing to the cat. All singing is good. LOL!

LOL! I have to go by her judging, unfortunately, and she's got some really pointy bits to get her opinion across. ;)

And you've obviously never heard me sing. ;)

I do like your Mr. T-13 of the week :)

I'm pleased to know, in spite of the negative reminder, there was something bright and shiny in this post for you. :) (He is lovely, isn't he?)

Wow you also do the art of your book cover? Some girls just have all the talent :)

Reply

It's really the inevitable result of being a control freak who enjoys (on some sadistic level, mind) working with graphics programs. Sometimes the cover is the reason I *finish* the book in the first place!

Love your list...wishing you good speed on accomplishing it all. I know, I am a great list maker of great expectations of myself!

Thank you! I've done a few things, but by no means all of them! At least we have goals, eh? ;)
