Many of you might remember the events of late May/early June, 2012, when a number of earthquakes shook the plains of Emilia-Romagna and caused extensive damage to homes and business, and killed twenty-seven people. In an effort to contribute to the relief efforts while I was in the US, I earmarked 50% of the proceeds of my books in June and July for various organizations in the area.
Well, now I want to do more, because the recovery isn't over yet.
Just in case you haven't seen the main page of my website or stumbled across the information elsewhere, I'm happy to share the news that the Expanded Edition of Ask Me if I'm Happy is now available. This particular edition of Ask Me if I'm Happy also includes the prequel novella Alternate Rialto.
What makes this extra special - and worth noting - is that proceeds from this ebook-only edition will be donated to various organizations in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, which support the ongoing, post-earthquake relief efforts there. These organizations include Croce Rossa Italiana (the Italian Red Cross), Protezione Civile (the Civil Protection Department), and other, direct contribution agencies established within the cities affected.
