You can't go wrong with the classics - I just can't believe it's taken me this long to sit down to read it!

I haven't read The Red House, but I liked The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by; Mark Haddon so I'll probably add it to my list. Thanks for the suggestion.

You are most welcome for the suggestion. I'm looking forward to reading both of them, of course, and my husband also recommended The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. So, it must be pretty good! :)

Great list, Kim. I don't think I've heard of that Short History Of Tractors book. It looks interesting.

Thanks! :) I sure hope the book is good, since it had been on my To-Buy list for some time, and I finally bought it a little while ago.

I read part of the Curious Incident of the Dog at Night. I was curious about the structure of such a story, written from an autistic boy's perspective, but if didn't hold my interest after awhile.

I get the feeling it's one of those books where it either grips you right away or it doesn't catch you at all. I'm very interested to see how it goes, though. Heh. :)

The one about the tractors certainly piqued my curiosity. As did you boy photo. :-) And writing is hard but you seem to be doing pretty well with it!

I know, right? It's one of those titles that grabs your attention and makes you think "Wait, what?" LOL! And I figured I couldn't go wrong with Matt Bomer (lovely, no?).

Thank you for the kind words - I like to think so, too, if it's not immodest to admit. ;)

I reread To Kill a Mockingbird a couple years ago, and loved it as much as I did in HS. Mine: <a href="http://wordtrix.blogspot.com/2014/02/thursday-thirteen-322-recently-viewed.html">Recently Viewed</a>

It's a little embarrassing to admit, but I didn't read it in HS. In fact, I've never read it at all! I don't know how it's slipped past me, but it has - until now. Heh.

I like the cover design of Adult - ery. Sex is Forbidden reminds me of Lysistrata. And I wonder when will I ever get to read To Kill a Mockingbird

Tim Parks' books tend to have intricate or unique covers, at least when I find them over here. I love his work every time I read it.

There's no time like the present for reading TKM, though - grab a copy at the local library or used book shop! :)
