Ciao a tutti! Hello everybody! It's that time again, and this week I thought I'd share with you another selection of photos from my trip to Como. This time, the focus is on the lake itself.

So please, allow me to share with you:

Thirteen Photos from Lago di Como!

Picture
This was the view of the lake from the balcony of our hotel room. It was cloudy and a tiny bit drizzly when we arrived, but it was still beautiful.
Picture
We had a corner room, and this was the view out of our side window.
Picture
There's a walking path which winds among the residential streets in Tremezzo called the Greenway. This is one of the archways on the Greenway.
Picture
Lakeside at last!
Picture
View of the lake and sky from a belvedere in a park.
Picture
Once the clouds had broken up, it was an even more beautiful day.
Picture
On the evening of the second day, my hubby made a new friend, who happened to live right behind the hotel.
Picture
As we drove to Argegno on the final day to meet a friend, I snapped this photo of a common weekend sight on the lake.

And, finally, a view of the lake from Argegno.

There you go. Thirteen Photos from Lago di Como. I do hope you've enjoyed them.

Because that's what I enjoy the most: knowing you've enjoyed your visit here.

And because I want you to enjoy your visits...

I have to be obliging...

No?

Ciao for now!

Thanks, Colleen. :) To be honest, it was a situation where I'd have had to work hard to get *bad* shots.

I had expected it to be pretty, but I didn't expect to be as awed as I was when we came out of Cernobbio and the lake was below us.

Plus, when you come out of the mountain and descend toward Como, you come down an off-ramp that is vertigo-inducing because you want to look around but you can't.

It's just amazing!

Such great architecture! The Lake Como near me has none, though it does have mountains.

While I wasn't crazy about the roads or the parking, walking through the town almost made me want to live there. I'm a sucker for mountains more than lakes, but that was a place (and so is the area around Lago Maggiore) I could fall in love with.

It really would be hard to get a bad shot in Como. I would have been happy to spend the whole weekend in our room, too - it was gorgeous from there!

Love the stone walkway! And the tanlines are so cute they break my heart.

It was a beautiful path to walk, but it was some workout for the calves, let me tell you!

As for the tanlines - tantalizing, aren't they? ;)
